Tuesday!

Another beautyful tuesday! And now little Sebastian is 1 year! People
said to us that "time will fly by" and I thaught "we´ll see", and wow
I did´nt! It passed so fast that I did´nt see it...
And as you can see in the photo; there is no wrong way to eat cake on
a birthday in the Lundmark-home. You can see Mattias´s (how do I write
that proper, I have no idea) mum in the background. She looks both
proud and impressed I think.
Another fun thins that happened that happened this morning with
Sebastian is that we try to teach him words; like lamp, mummy, daddy
and belly. So I pointed to his belly and said "belly". He started
pulling his pyjamas so I opened it so he could se his belly. He looks
at the belly, then at me and then he takes little pieces of cheese
(that is infront of him, we just ate breakfast) and starts putting it
into the hole of the pyjamas! He keeps putting in pieces of cheese in
his PJs and looks at me and Mattias and smiles. Life with kids are
funny and cheesy (in the "putting-it-into-a-pyjamas-way")!

The editing is still on track and I can say that the design that Bernd
and Tim has made is so cool and I hope you all will like it as much as
we do.

I am working out a lot right now even though I am not teaching very
much. Mattias have about 10 hours of classes every week so he is in
great shape, but I need to move. So I go to "Friskis & svettis" which
translates to "healthy & sweaty". It is basically aerobics but more
simple movements and I love it. One of our lindy-students took the
same class as me yesterday and after the class she said something like
this to me: "you must really like this superhard workout, it is almost
like your own military-warm ups". Military?! That is the best
compliment I ever heard of my warm ups!

Lots of love and stay healthy and sweaty!

Blogday is tuesday!

Hello world!
As you might have noticed this little blog only comes to life on
tuesdays. There is a reason for that and it is because all other days
people in Sweden takes siesta all day 24-7. Just like in Barcelona
where we just spent 4 great days at Emi and Pep´s Il Sinera. Okey,
they don´t only dance on tuesdays but they have siesta!

So okey, maybe swedes don´t sleep and eat cheese all week, and we can
´t take siestas because it is too cold here and if we lie on the
ground we freeze into icecubes BUT I only work one day a week right
now. "So you should have plenty of time writing your blog you lazy
swede", you might think, but NO! All day I runa round chasing our
walking/running son and inbetween that I practise and work out and go
north to my beloved Herräng to see my family and cook (sometimes… and
not necessarily good or tasty) food for Mattias who work for the both
of us. He is teaching at both sss, chicago and base 23 so I recommend
going to all three. All the time. 24-7. ;)

And our new dvd is getting closer and closer to ready every day!! It
really is so much fun but HARD work to get it ready. Bernd in Cologne
and Tim Collins in Switzerland (now but in India soon) are so kind and
cool to hel pus. Thank you so much!!

Next big trip is to for Mattias to go to Paris (le fou des swing) and
then Umeå (swingum), with the lovely miss Lizette Rönnqvist. I can not
go because I am having surgery. My feet are a bit broken from all
airsteps (I still love airsteps and do it all the time, but I can not
recommend doing what I did 2009: One years of doing about 20 airtsteps
every day!) and the surgery will fix it all.

Sebastian is walking now and even though we been trying to make him
focus on tap, which he likes, (and which he do really well, bt the he
is clearly still more "tap dogs" than "condos-brothers") he LOVES his
football! This football in the photo has a funny story (I just hope I
am still considered a good mum…): He loves chewing on EVERYTHING. ALL
THE TIME. So all his toys breaks, sooo, I looked in every toystore for
an unbreakable ball. I could not find the right one until I passed a
shoppingwindow with the perfect one! So I went into the pet store and
bought a ball for dogs! Like I wrote; he´s a tap-dog, so the ball fits
him like a glove.

Hugs and love/
